In December 2023 Partridge Green residents were surveyed for their views on our current village hall – its strengths and weaknesses, and how they would like it to be improved. The feedback showed that although the current hall remains well-used, its age, size and ad-hoc layout mean that it does not offer the level of facilities the community would like. With this message in mind, in early 2024 the Village Hall Trustees set up a Steering Group of volunteer residents with relevant experience, to further analyse responses to the consultation and to scope out the options available to renew our Village Hall.
After 8 months’ work, the Steering Group’s report has been welcomed by the Trustees, as presenting a clear appraisal of the options available to renew our Village Hall facility, i.e. which options are feasible, and which are not. This allows us to consult further with the community on these options, before Trustees decide on the best project path to pursue, which will involve engaging with the Parish Council and getting professional advice. The presentation below reviews the options available and which of them are actually feasible. The short questionnaire beneath seeks your feedback on those options, to inform discussion of next steps.
This consultation will run until XXX, at which point the Trustees will take stock of the feedback.
When you have read and digested the conclusions of the report above, please complete the short questionnaire below to feed back your views on the two site options that it identifies as feasible.
